Buck has been coaching and directing camps and clinics for more than 25 years. He has coached many levels of basketball from Pre-K through Varsity and his camps and clinics focus primarily on the development of grade school players. With a strong belief that fundamentals and FUN together create successful athletes, Buck infuses positive energy and fundamental skills into his coaching as he works hard to defend HORNET PRIDE by building future champions.
Daniel Amborn has worked in education for over a decade! He’s taught ESL in Japan, preschool in Richfield, and for the last five years has worked as a high school Language Arts teacher. He loves storytelling in all of its forms: movies, comics, video games, and of course novels. When he isn’t engaged in a story, you can find him rock climbing, painting, or playing with his one-year old son, Han!
Caitlin Bailey has been a Language Arts teacher for 15 years, but has been a reader and writer her whole life. She enjoys sharing the wonder of getting lost while reading a book and the excitement of creating a brand new world with a few keystrokes or swipes of the pen. The rest of her time is filled with family, cooking, and laughter
Kelly is PASSIONATE about running regardless of pace or place, and believes it can be a lifelong sport for anyone and everyone willing to lace up their shoes and put one foot in front of the other. She especially enjoys coaching young athletes who share her enthusiasm for working hard and tackling any challenges they may face in a race or in life.
She has coached cross-country as well as track & field at both the high school and junior high school levels for a total of eight years, and is an active member of the Twin Cities Track Club, a non-profit organization with a mission of spreading health & fitness to Minneapolis/St Paul youth through the sport of running.
Chris has been a Middle School Track and Field Coach in Edina for over 10 years. He has also taught Health, Physical Education, and worked as a Peer Coach in the district. Chris strives to provide opportunities for kids that promote physical and social development by practicing skills, developing workouts based on student ability, and incorporating team-building activities. Chris believes that being active and exercising are important parts of everyday life to build and maintain overall wellness.
Ben has been the ninth grade girls basketball coach at Edina since 2014. He is currently the 'World of Music' teacher and helps with the seventh and eighth grade AVID programs at Valley View Middle School. In his spare time, Ben also works the scoreboard at Edina varsity fall and spring sporting events.
Madison Forster has been the site director for Hornet Tennis Camp the past two years. Madison played varsity tennis at Chaska High School. She was a captain for her high school team her senior year. Madison has a long history with Hornet Tennis Camp. She has been a camper, a coach and now the site director. Madison will be a junior at Arizona State University this fall.
Perry Forster is the co-founder of Hornet Tennis Camp and has been directing HTC for the past 14 years. Perry was the JV and varsity assistant for the Edina High School Girls Tennis Team for 15 years. Perry has been named Assistant Coach of the year multiple times by his peers. Perry has been teaching and coaching for the past 26 years.
Since 2000, Jenny has been teaching Language Arts at South View Middle School and directing Edina Summer Computer Camp in the summer. Jenny is an upbeat instructor that enjoys coaching young authors as they explore new ways to express their creative ideas. During the summer, you can find her on the lake, walking the dogs, or playing with her daughter.
Matt Nilsen has coached at Edina High School for 23 years (11 of them as head coach). He is five time section coach of the year, 2012 MN High School Girls' Basketball Coach of the Year, and
2005 MN High School Girls' Basketball Assistant Coach of the Year. He also has
coached with the MN Stars AAU club program for 8 years.

My name is Zach Prowell and this will be my 9th year as a camp leader for Edina Summer Computer Camp. During the school year I teach in a 4th/5th grade loop at Highlands Elementary in Edina, MN. Gamification, technology, history, and discovering student/camper sparks are just some of my passions in life. Along with being an educator, I enjoy biking, cross-country skiing, tinkering and fixing things, and spending time with my beautiful wife and two children.
